I didn't look at the ad and assumed it was the real Chronodot, sold by Adafruit and other companies. In fact, it is marked as "Chronodor". This is clearly stated in the ad, so I don't think there was an attempt to mislead. It shares the same parts as the Chronodot and appears to work as advertised, but I haven't had a chance to evaluate long-term stability and accuracy. This is a really good chip, works fine with no pull-up resistors on the SCL and SDA lines (although it is always good to add them anyway). Good board and layout - great for prototyping. Removed one star due to bent metal battery mount. I'm not sure if this is due to handling during shipping or a manufacturing defect.
