I have made Adirondack chairs with this piece. Sounds good, but I killed him in two days. The bearing seized up after a few hours (fortunately I still have spares). But when I ran it through 1.5" old pine (so hardwood, not the cork you get in orange and blue shops), it burned out in two sessions, even when running at the lowest speed on my router. Would I buy it again Yes I would buy a larger one as it was barely big enough for the tree I was working with but for the price I can afford to use one for every two chairs and still make a profit. treat them as disposable and this approach seems to work.
