I believe an Oxygen/Propane or Acetylene torch is essential for proper use of these wands. Fluxes are incredibly difficult to remove after welding, but the versatility and quality of this product justifies five stars. The product is very suitable for connecting many different metals. Tensile strength and ductility are good. I'm a bit picky, it doesn't tin as well as I'd like, but hence the ability to fuse loose joints, which is a huge plus for me when welding less than perfect objects. It takes quite a bit of heat, so keep that in mind when deciding what you're going to weld. Use a gas rich flame. I am a certified G6 welder and have been producing steel for over 40 years. I find this a valuable product as it allows me to perform tasks that would otherwise require a TIG or MIG welder. I recommend this product and have already bought it again. Would like a lower price.
