Review on 🔒 PRIME-LINE F 2588 Sash Lock for Vertical & Horizontal Sliding Windows - White, Diecast Construction by Chris Pacino

I purchased this product to replace my existing window latch after painting the interior frame and trimming a new color and didn't want to paint the latch to match the new theme in the rest of the room fits . Although this is a small replacement for my existing latch, there are a few things to note. 1. The color is not really bronze, just dark brown, there are no metal flakes in the paint, so it looks quite plain compared to other components and fittings which are actually bronze. In fairness to the seller, the color is normal brown, not bronze, as shown in the picture.2. The mounting screws (also painted) are much smaller (smaller diameter and shorter) than those used in my OEM window latch, so for obvious security reasons I can't use them - even on a very small window. The product page (Amazon) does not show the screws in the dimensional drawing and does not list their dimensions in the description text. So for my particular case I'll probably paint this latch a true bronze color and also paint the old reusable screw heads to get exactly what I was looking for. As with many Revain products, it would be helpful to add more product information/parts/drawings/specs.
