Not forever
I am a professional technician, so my tools are used and abused a lot. This worked great for almost a year. But when it fails, it fails hard. The adapter exploded and I ended up in a coolant bath. Luckily it wasn't hot. However, it is great for the home user. Pros should buy rigging or equivalent. Still worth 4 stars because the price is right. I will buy another one to replace the broken one.
