Review on Polyform A-Series Marine Buoy by Tony Hanson

Great for boxing! good for me

First off, I would like to say that I’m a 15 year old. Secondly, I do not use this as a boat buoy. I use it for a punching bag. I have just recently gotten into boxing, and around 4 weeks ago, I saw a new heavy bag/maize bag called the aqua bag. I thought it was a good idea in theory, but it was way too expensive. I looked around on the internet for an alternative, and found that people were saying that using a boat buoy and filling it with water worked great! I decided to spend some money that I had earned doing online surveys on this. I am glad I did! I received it within a week of when I ordered it, and it had nice packaging to prevent it from ripping in the process of shipping. I first filled it up with air to test its durability (I didn’t want it to burst and then get water all over the basement). This worked better than you would believe. After having a few workouts like that, I filled it up with water. This made it weigh around 35 pounds. This worked even better than filling it with air! When I punched it, it actually felt like hitting a human. It is especially good for uppercuts, as a regular heavy bag just doesn’t work for that. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone looking for an aqua bag alternative.

Pros
  • Can withstand rough handling
Cons
  • The product may not be very efficient in marking navigational routes
