The design is ok - when inserting water, you need to make sure that the silicone top is tightly secure. But almost always, water seems to leak from the sides if you tip it slightly off-level due to the soft nature of the silicone. I think it would have been better if the edges were made of plastic instead of silicone, so that it'll securely snap the lid closed like the tupperware design while the top part of the mold is silicone for easy removal. Maybe it'll work better if I taped it shut all around the edge, but doing that each time would be inconvenient. Otherwise, it's easy to remove the ice, and it definitely shapes the ice the way it's supposed to.
