Review on 🐾 Pet Gear Travel Lite Bi-Fold Ramp, Safe & Portable Pet Accessory with Rubber Grippers, 42" L - Tan by Natalie Adams

First I ordered the same ramp as in the photo, collapsible, brown. "Carpet" is actually more like a non-slip marine floor. It's nice and not too scratchy but definitely gives a good grip. The rubber grips on the bottom don't look like much, but they're surprisingly effective. Although the ramp seems a bit narrow, it's actually okay. For the record, my dog is a 55-pound mix; She is very smart and a bit stubborn. I did what the other suggested and had her examine it while it was on the living room floor. She was very hesitant last night. Today I installed it on the sliding side door of my minivan. With a sliced hot dog as a motivational treat and the statement "ramp" (and tapping it with a slice of hot dog), she finally made up her mind and walked up the ramp. I will add that she was always on my leash so I could help guide her. Down the ramp was more difficult, but in the end she decided it was okay and the hot dog was worth it. This whole process took a total of 10 minutes and a hot dog. This ramp is solidly built. It would be nice if future models had some sort of handle (perhaps a riveted nylon loop?), but it's still quite handy. I'm 5ft, average weight for my height and easy to lift and unfold. I am very satisfied with this product!
