The problem with all my trailers is that I don't use them all the time - some maybe not for an entire year.The great thing about this kit is that you can remove the cable and store it away when you don't use it so the ends don't corrode sitting outside in the elements. When you have this coiled up during use, it stretches out only when needed and not dragging on the ground at times. The connectors are heavy duty - either very sturdy thick plastic or the other end in non rusting stainless steel.
