This is the best energetic dog trainer when used properly. After 2 years of ownership and daily use, it still works great and charges. I trained Gracie in the zapper by letting her know that a very weak shock (which is why I love the dogtra) can be stopped instantly by doing what is asked of her. It took 15 minutes of training in just 2 days. Now all she needs is the vibration to know to go when she's not remembering, when she's out of sight on the trail, or when she's playing too roughly with other dogs. She wags and freaks out to don this collar, knowing it means crazy running, fun times, and the fact that she's the Trixie Belden dog she is in the wild. Overall, it's worth the money once you learn how to use it and are confident that it won't short out or shock your dog without your knowledge.
