I've bought several of these for doors around the house - brushed, metal and brass. First, use longer screws to provide extra support. They come with 1" screws which is fine but not the best for securing the door. At least 2 or 3 inch screws are better. Second, they require some practice to open quickly when you need to leave your house in a hurry. Be sure to practice opening and closing after installation, especially for children or the elderly in the household. Finally, the brass version does not match the typical brass door hardware.
