Worked great for a year. Super easy to install and program. Design flaw: The tab on the inside of the plug needs to have a protective cover to keep the wire from pinching. This was not apparent during installation. I connected the cable according to the instructions. Upon examination, it is evident that there is plenty of space and the wires appear to be free. The wire found its way to a small tongue and slowly wore out. Attached photos. Fix the wire so that it does not interfere with the installation (a kind of tape). In fact, there should be a shield over the movable tongue to avoid the risk of pinching.
