
I used grinding wheels to polish our 35 year old stainless steel cutlery which looked old and worn. He did not remove any small micro-scratches, but polished the stainless steel to a high gloss. It created a lot of dust as the wheels wore out, but they're still serviceable and cheap enough to replace.
