Review on PH9837 Spin-On Oil Filter by Fram by Mahmut Ojeda

, I was looking for an oil filter by year, make and model of my car and it came back with a Fram PH9837 spin on oil filter. When it arrived I poured oil into the new filter and set it aside to allow the oil to settle before adding more, then removed the old oil filter. When I tried to install a new filter, it would not thread into the threaded portion of the engine. After thoroughly inspecting it, I found that the threaded hole in the filter was actually larger than the threaded portion of the bracket on the motor. I had to reuse my old filter because I had already drained all the oil from my engine.
