LOOKS VERY EXPENSIVE AND ELEGANT IN PERSON, THE BOTTOM PLATE IS REMOVABLE.

I originally bought this to keep on the counter to fill up all my old oils for disposal at a recycling center at the end of the month. I don't reuse oils because they are very unhealthy if heated once let alone twice. it is processed in one way or another. This particular container replaced my old and not-so-good random old cookie or coffee jar I had. Now this one is so elegant and so cute that I revisit it and keep it on my countertop for decoration. .Super sweet! i really like it It looks great on my granite next to the silver tray as it almost looks like silver. It's stainless steel, but it's well polished and looks very expensive. The bottom plate is NOT attached to it, so it's perfect, how can I use it or not? There is a removable strainer inside which I like, I don't really need it for my oiling purposes as I can just pour whatever into the pan as I usually only have clean oil left over but if there is any it's better to pass through old pieces of food so that they do not spoil and do not smell. I like the strainer, I removed it and will use it for other purposes as I don't need oil. It doesn't take up much space as it has a spout that is very close to the body of the pot and doesn't protrude too much, as does the handle. The handle is very elegant and just amazing. This is a really high quality item that doesn't look cheap in person. It's easy to clean or just stick it in the dishwasher. STRENGTH! - The strength is excellent because when you hold it by the handle it is stiff and hard, which is very important when working with oils.
