It's a cheap axe, I don't know what I was expecting. The axe head wasn't that sharp when I got it, but it worked for splitting small logs. It was light and pretty maneuverable and it did feel pretty good in my hand. Of course, when buying cheap tools, expect them to break. I tried to split a medium size log (about 7 inches in diameter) and the head got stuck in the log. I tried to pull the axe out and try again, but instead I pulled the handle out. Overall 2 starts since it wasn't expensive, but it's not great. Stick to small logs or get a better splitting axe.
