Little by little, every detail of this unit let me down. The slave cylinder failed and ruptured after only 4 weeks. After 3 months, the master stopped printing, so I had to replace it. Now the clutch hose itself will squirt fluid every time you depress the clutch. Leak between the braid and the compression fitting at the end of the slave cylinder, I think it's a factory fault! This nearly left me stranded on three separate occasions, each time having to do exactly the same thing as the other reviewer to get home (starting with the gearbox and powershift). Absolute rubbish. So I've now spent $150 on it, plus the cost of each part I had to replace. Of course there is no guarantee because I didn't replace the whole unit at once and that seems like the only way to guarantee my problem. SKIP THIS. Use only metal slave cylinders on Jeep XJ applications, the plastic cylinder will fall apart. I'm trying out a Dorman clutch hose and a MOPAR clutch master. Wish me luck.
