I use it when using a laptop for a media center or streaming Steam games in the living room - no I haven't used it, just the drive itself in the hub. Haven't thought about it until now, and the laptop is COMPLETELY across the room. Also, my external drive and mouse have to be connected to it or else the cable gets messed up and I can't use the mouse on the limited desk space. knows? nope I would order this again.
