Poor workmanship, but the lid itself works.
Product worked as advertised on my 2009 Chevrolet Suburban but the small T on the end holding the gas cap to the car was missing so now I have to hold it in my hand every time I take the gas cap off . While I was tanking instead of just letting it dangle, I found it pretty crappy that something like this was happening.
