1/2" bolts are too short so I resort to giant U-clamps to attach them to the bumper. There are NO instructions in the box, so all you have to do is install it on your devices. Luckily I've installed others before, so I'm sure I "made it" with my own mounting hardware. Also, the nuts provided for attaching replacement parts are NOT lug nuts which will scratch the rim when tightened. So DO NOT use them on Aluminum/Mag wheels. :(
