True, the tongue fit is a bit tight, but if you start from the bottom and hook the top last, it will fit snugly. tested on 2010 128i - not too small but yes you can glue it on if you're worried the cleats won't hold up. but the 200lb gorilla just installed it yesterday without breaking or sticking anything :)
