Review on πŸ’‘ BV-Tech Gigabit Power Over Ethernet PoE+ Injector: 30W, 802.3af/at, Plug & Play, Up to 100 Meters (325 Feet) by Niko Knight

Revainrating 1 out of 5

This PoE seems very good for the application it is intended for.

My rating is based solely on my situation and probably has nothing to do with actual PoE capabilities and performance in intended use. However, it didn't work as I had hoped. I'm not familiar with PoE in general and had to look up information on my existing one which I use for power and a fixed wireless antenna on my roof. I've attached a picture of the existing PoE I was trying to replace. Now with all of this in mind I couldn't find the information I needed so I had to extrapolate what I could find and apply it to the PoEs I could find. Obviously, my extrapolation was grossly imperfect. So I'm going to ask those of you who are familiar with these devices which product could replace the PoE I have based on the picture I posted here along with my review. I asked a question in the Questions section above, but I didn't provide enough information to get a proper answer. So I hope I can get a comment to help me in my search for a POE sufficient to replace my current one. I've already bought three and this is the first so I figured this would work. Thank you and I hope this can help someone in my situation who doesn't really know much about PoE and is looking for a replacement for a fixed wireless radio on their roof.
