I needed to make custom jambs for three doors and bought this unit to finish with hinges. Inbox The ones supplied Guides/bearing templates fit the included hinges on the doors with no problem.However, I had an inner/outer door that also required a custom jamb and had hinges larger than this unit could handle so I had to hand cut the loops It turned out to be very easy, just loop around the loop, use a utility knife to cut the wood a little deeper than planned and then just cut freehand This will give you nice even edges as the wood will chip away like just the big one would get to the mark The biggest problem is the hinge depth setting that this unit will make for you with the right hinges The hinge depth is simple - it is indicated on the door itself. Just measure z then for the door and you have a measure for the depth of the jamb.
