I had to write a review after using it to make Christmas candy because it is a great product and there were negative reviews about it. I found it easy to use and did exactly what it was supposed to do. You stick a needle in the hole to prevent the chocolate from melting and lift the needle when you want it to flow. What could be easier? Sure, there's a learning curve to learning the device that releases the most chocolate when you slide it back into the hole to stop it, but after you've filled a few molds you'll get the hang of how it works . And while you might not be able to fill all the intricate spaces in some of the molds, you can always come back with a spatula to spread the chocolate out as it takes time to set. This is a great product and I don't want to try to shape chocolate without it. I order another one to melt the peanut butter and caramel chips and add to the molds in addition to the chocolate without having to wash one. I especially like that you can stick a needle in the hole and insert the funnel into the tall glass so you can dispense the already poured chocolate if needed and the ingredients don't spill out. Please don't hesitate to buy this for making candy!
