High Quality Silver Solder
Harris is a well known brand: reliable quality - no surprises - does exactly what it says on the tin. With a little practice, almost anyone can learn how to solder silver. The secret is to prepare the metal, use the right flux, and quickly ramp the temperature to red heat. Propane is hot enough - the process is to transfer the required amount of heat to the metal being brazed and not to use oxy-acetylene flux which is likely to burn off the flux before brazing temperature is reached. Use white flux for small jobs and black flux for larger jobs that take longer to heat up.
