Review on Anco Precision Wall Mount Bracket for πŸ“± Google, ADT, Brinks Nest Guard Secure Security System by Tiffany Hart

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great product for the corridor entrance

I installed this and encountered many problems, none of which were the fault of the product. I cut the hole with a carbide hole saw. I built the base into the wall and connected the power to the outlet in the basement. I used clear liquid nail sealant to attach the bracket to the wall. Holds up much better than double sided tape. Be sure to follow the instructions for the direction the notch for the power cord should face. The next step was building the base. This was very easy as I already have a Nest account and other Nest products. Here's the tricky part: 1 - Since it's wall mounted, you'll need to disable the motion sensor on the fence (base) of the nest itself. Your windows, doors, and motion sensors may be working normally, but you're getting a lot of false alarms from the base. Nest Guard with the main router for the initial setup of window/door sensors. As I said before, this mount is a fantastic option for a clean install and I highly recommend it!

Pros
  • Securely mount the nest in the wall.
Cons
  • There are errors
