I recently bought this A3 tabloid scanner as a godsend after my trusty Mustek A3 driver died after the MAC Big Sur update. With no ratings or reviews I held my breath and hoped for the best. After my first test scans I couldn't be happier. *sigh of relief* I'm an illustrator/artist, so I either scan black and white work (to later trace it in real time in Illustrator) or large acrylic paintings where resolution and color vibrancy are key. Until now, paintings have been scanned very true to color (requiring very little Photoshop tweaking). The black and white line drawing test required some sharpening and contrast adjustment. The driver installed easily after looking at the readme file, and to top it off, it arrived two days early. The only downside would be that the lid isn't very heavy, but my expectations were very low given the price.
