Review on πŸ“Έ KODAK Green NYLON 6 3D Printer Filament by Jason Gopinath

Patience is the key to success

I was able to print this out of the box after drying in the esun dryer. I used an open printer first, an I3 Mega with a full metal e3d v6 hotend, 250 glue, no fan and 80 on a glass platform. Also with 18 edges. Gave a good print but I had more deformation than I expected. Another thing to consider, I had some kinks where I had the supports, so I'll probably have to adjust my settings for the roof and base there. I waited a few days to receive the case I ordered and installed everything there. .I tried the same settings, I was able to print with no problems. The surface is good, the adhesion is satisfactory. So I increased the bed to 90 and reduced the speed from 50mm to 40. Beautifully printed, no warping. But I made a mistake. What I have noticed is that it has completely cooled down inside the case and the prints are very good now. This material prints better and is lighter than most PETG filament I've used in my humble opinion. Now my only complaint. Roll wrapping is terrible. It came off the spool and I had a hard time keeping the line on the spool. The coil is also not very even. Although I will say I had no trouble tying it. Overall, I have no problem recommending this thread. It works fine for the parts I want to use it for, just do it step by step. I also believe that the body is a must for this.

Pros
  • STRONGEST: High-quality, high-tenacity yarn for extremely strong and heavy components.
Cons
  • Can't remember
