The device works as it should, but it's a BIG but. When my iPhone is locked, I don't get notifications about water leaks. No sound, no wake up screen. When the iPhone is unlocked, notification with alarm and notification works fine. It shouldn't work like that. If I have a leak in the middle of the night, my phone should alert me immediately. I get a notification on my Apple Watch, but I don't wear the watch when I sleep and I doubt it will wake me up anyway. The Tuya smart app needs an overhaul, or maybe another smart device app is giving better alerts. Now I get notifications when my iPhone is locked! Everything works as it should. Another edit: I spoke too soon. TuyaSmart application contains errors. Resets the sensor and doesn't alarm when the iPhone is locked. After a few days you will need to add the sensor again. I'm waiting for the app update.
