Personally, I was afraid of carving pumpkins because it always seemed so difficult and exhausting; but that was due to the cheap tools I found and bought at the supermarket, which I threw away immediately after cutting. Well, not anymore! This set is AMAZING. For starters, they have a great little strap that keeps them all in place. It has a quality zipper and is compact so we can put it under the sink for more carving projects. The pens are so cute which in itself is the main reason we bought this set. The carving is completed with such ease; These mini blades/saws are razor sharp and the perfect length for carving up those fat pumpkins. For something you can use every year, this is totally worth your money. Another use for them could be carving intricate fruit displays/baskets or earthenware. All in all I highly recommend it. We are so happy with our purchase.
