This is an amazing product. The collar is very durable and very attractive. The elastic on it is heavy and stiff: just enough for the cat to free itself if caught, but not so much that it can use the clip to get out of the collar. I was looking for a safety collar with elastic, not a tear off clasp. One of my cats crawls out of them to nowhere. The collar feels like it will last a long time. I first saw this style in a 10 inch kitten/cat collar that other buyers have said only fits their adult cats. Then I found the larger 12" size which is perfect for my adult cats. The 12" size gives a lot of room for adjustment. There is a loop for hanging a tag. There is a tiny bell that appears to be detachable but is so flimsy that I didn't bother to take it off. My cat had multiple collars. and didn't like them all. He doesn't even notice this one. Very good collar at a very good price.
