This smooth action tailgate opener works very well. However, the instructions are wrong. The errors are in the list of tools. It's nice that they give a list of tools. If only this was the RIGHT tool list! What you really need are 4mm, 5mm and 6mm allen keys. Heads for 10, 12 and 14 mm. Zipper and something to attach the tail. A couple of pieces of wood to support the tailgate while installing the new hinge pin. Others noticed and my kit was the same. The locking clip at the top of the gas spring is not crimped well. Once you have it installed, you need to grab the zip tie and secure it. Installation took about 10 minutes. It is fully reversible. The tailgate can still be removed by releasing the top end of the gas strut along with the two tethers.
