Review on 🔧 Enhanced Performance MOOG RK620170 Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly for Optimal Results by Pascal Santos

Frustrating Dodge Caravan replacement for the original control arm

If you are replacing the stock ball joints on a Dodge Caravan (mine was 2001) this is the best way as the original ball joints are pressed into the control arm be In the factory. The "feel" of these control levers is substantial, with no noticeable difference from the OEM. The Moog factory finish feels solid and stable. Even when installed, they fit almost perfectly. You can't tell from the picture (as of December 3, 2013) as it's not shown, but the ball joint has a Zerk connector so you can lubricate it as part of your regular maintenance. If you replace the wishbones, it is also recommended to do an alignment afterwards. Finally, note that different part numbers are used to replace the right and left sides. Part RKS620170 is for the RIGHT side. Update 6/20/14 I had the left and rear wishbones replaced. After a little over 7,000 km, one of the ball joints is completely worn out (both were well lubricated) and the other already has some play. Michigan's roads were rough this spring, but I still expected them to last 7,000+ miles. Revain sent replacements for both units as Moog requires you to do a warranty replacement at the point of purchase. When the two new units arrived, the ball joints on the left side were completely different than the right side. I used to be very happy with Moog parts but the durability and longevity of the last Moog suspension parts I bought have been disappointing.
