Review on π Black TiVo AP0100 WiFi 5 USB Adapter for Enhanced Connectivity by Aaron Ayo
Knowing what it will and won't do
Bought with a mini vox to replace the cable box in the guest room. What isn't clear is that this only works if your main device is connected to a Wi-Fi network - if you have a multiple Tivo device setup (I have a Bolt and the original Mini without Wi-Fi), that require Ethernet or Moca, this wireless dongle will not work. I have no doubt that if all the parameters to use are met, it will work as intended, but in my case it wasn't. Had the information been clearer I would have avoided this purchase.
