Viper Aux outputs 5V that can be used to open the trunk. This device is based on a manual that specifically mentions barrel release (I see the description has been removed). I even got an answer from the Q&A that it would work with a meager 5V 200mA output, but that's not too bad, I had to wait 3 weeks for shipping to find out. I get a low switching current relay available from Revain, although I wanted everything to be OEM. I don't understand why Directed can't supply a relay for their system. or am I wrong and Viper and Directed are not connected in any way? Spring. still very bad.
