Review on ⚙️ Gates Automatic Belt Drive Tensioner - DriveAlign 38216 by Juan Huerta

Started making a rattling noise after three weeks. This is my second as the first made the same noise. The first only made a rattling noise when the ambient temperature was below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. After I removed it from my car to return it, it compressed very easily and leaked fluid from the hydraulic cylinder. Instead, I ordered an original Toyota tensioner. I don't know why Gates makes such inferior parts. I have used Gates products in the professional aftermarket for many years.
