This kettle is wonderful! Although the temperature sensor is in Celsius, it is very easy to convert. Black tea is said to be 212 F but that's the same as 100 C. So once you know that you can just search the internet to find out, it's very easy to understand. At 212 F it will cook fully. All you have to do to get started is plug it in and press down on the little button on the side. When it's at the right temperature, just lift the handle or when you need it hot it will turn off automatically. This is a nice feature as it's impossible to forget to turn it off. I also like how it looks. Like an old teapot. It looks very nice in my kitchen and I use it almost every day. The cable folds easily for storage. I just keep mine in the cupboard next to my blender. I love it! If you are not sure, just buy it! You will love it!
