I expected a lot from this product as it promises "up to 1000 Mbps transfer speed". Bought to replace my existing wi-fi that connects my house and detached garage. My existing WiFi bridge can already reach 120 Mbit/s file copy speed. Since this product claims "1000 Mbps", I decided to upgrade. The result is very disappointing - only about 8 Mbit/s is achieved. Since there is some distance between my house and the garage, it would be unfair to blame the product. It just doesn't help in my case. However, I believe that other people could have the same situation as me. So be prepared when you decide to buy any product. In addition, the product does not work with surge protection. It bothered me for a long time, and then I got it. It is best to plug the device directly into an outlet. Then we start to worry when there is a lightning strike or a power surge. In any case, the product is fine. The setup process is very simple. However, don't get your hopes up for high transfer rates.
