I eat boiled eggs most mornings, so I use this slicer often. I love how strong the blades are. I never have to worry about anything falling apart, except for my eggs. π It can pulverize the egg sometimes, but that is usually only it the eggs are not refrigerated first. So on the days I cook a batch of hard boiled eggs, I will slice them up with a knife. So I now only use this slicer on eggs that have been refrigerated over night.This slicer is fairly easy to clean using the little cleaning brush provided. I just rinse it with water immediately after use, removing any visible egg debris. Then I leave it out to dry, which seems to do the trick.That said, I would totally recommend this product to others.
