I recently got my hands on the Cablelera ZL8LED-N334 wire stripper and cutter, and it has been a mixed experience for me. Let's start with the pros - this is definitely a top-rated wire stripper as advertised. It's easy to use and has a comfortable grip. I appreciate the LED light feature that illuminates the area you're working on, making it easier to see the wire. Now for the cons - while it claims to work with 10-30 AWG wires, I found that it struggled with the thicker wires on the higher end of that range. It also performed poorly on twisted pair cables. Additionally, I had some difficulty with the wire cutter, which doesn't seem to be as sharp as I was expecting. Overall, I would say that the Z Stripper is a decent tool for basic wire stripping and cutting, but it's not quite as versatile as I would have hoped. With a few improvements, it could definitely earn a higher rating in the future.
