The only flaw is that the kit does not include new fuel line clamps. I used original. If you carefully remove them, they will work fine. There are three ways to access the fuel pump.1. drop the tank. Everything you need to disconnect is at the top of the tank. Good luck with that if you can't see anything.2. Remove the bed. That's what I did when I last changed the pump. I also used a cheap pump. Never. This is also a big pain in the butt.3. Cut a hatch in the bed. The factory should have done that. This is by far the easiest method. The hardest part was removing the bed padding. I have a very tight Loadlock sheet that snaps under the bed rails and is difficult to remove. The hole I cut was too big, but it's better than too small. To replace the section I glued tabs to it and bolted it with nuts. See photos. If I were to do it again I would cut it in front of the bed support. Overall I am very happy with the end result. I used a 4 1/2 angle grinder to make the cut. A jigsaw will also work if you trim the blade so it doesn't stick out too much. The tank dropped about 2 inches. Update: The pump works fine. The only problem is the accuracy of the fuel gauge. The reading is much higher than the actual fuel level. When the gauge shows 1/2 full tank, the actual fuel level is approximately 1/4 of a full tank.
