Review on 🧹 CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17595 16 Gallon Wet/Dry Vac: Powerful Heavy-Duty Shop Vacuum with Attachments for Versatile Cleaning by Chad Siofele

When my handyman vacuum arrived today I was so happy and relieved that the black plastic parts didn't stink like a lot of modern plastics. So often black plastic (from China) has a very toxic smell that doesn't go away. I liked how easy it was to put the vacuum together and I like how it's designed to hold the hose and accessories. It pulls easily and doesn't tip over. However, I had only just used the vacuum for about ten minutes and the heat from the motor created a very noxious stench, enough to make me mildly nauseous or give me a headache. I could tell it filled the room with a scent. Thus, engine heat appears to cause intense gassing. I'm not sure what to do about this and may need to return the device. I'll try to leave this item in the sun for a day if that helps, but I'd really like to see that any material some of the black plastic parts have been made from over the years can change because of some products currently have this awful smell. and I feel physically ill when exposed to them.
