Learn the tire removal technique before using it on the track. I have this and a combo T6 12/13mm lever. But you need a third tool that can be used as a third lever. I use a smooth grip MSR spark plug wrench. Three irons to start the bead. Then small bites to get rid of the rest. And make sure the side of the tire opposite where you pry open is in the center of the rim disc. Also, in almost all tire repair cases, I break the bead by putting the wheel down and stepping on the edge of the tire with the heel of my foot. Changing the tube on the track is not difficult.
