Review on Dorman 741-428 Front Driver Power Window Motor & Regulator Assembly for Ford/Lincoln Models (OE FIX) by Narendra Thapa

A bit disappointing that you can't buy it ONLY as an assembly without the motor, but at this price point it's not a sore point. The Dorman window regulator appears to be a higher quality unit than the original - the cables are more sleeved and the fit was perfect. The design of the plug differs from the original, but it includes an adapter that eliminates the difference. I have a 2004 F-150 Supercrew and the other day when I left work and closed the window there was a "ping" and the window slowly slammed into the door. I opened the door and the knot of cord looked like a fishing reel with a hook. I called the parts stores and the part was $250. I looked here at Revain and this part was $87. Yes, that's a significant saving. You don't have to be a mechanic to install this. If you have a screwdriver with Torx bits and a set of sockets, you should be fine.
