Sedan to Wagon - Whisbar Bodykit Compatibility

I bought a Whispbar luggage rack for my 2010 Jetta sedan and loved it, but didn't like the marks it (and any roof rack) left on the paintwork – as thin as they were can be. later I got a Jetta station wagon and it has roof rails so I could put a roof rack on it and not have to worry about painting the body. (Best part is there are no clips to interfere with the door seal.) I forgot the smartfoot feature after stowing the Whispbar, so thought I'd try using the Whispbar bars on the van. To my delight I found these leg adapters and in about 20 minutes my sedan's legs were detached and the K328's legs installed and placed on rails. For some reason the left side sliders were stiffer than the right side but still worked well. The rubber on the new legs just slid over the rails and made for a snug fit. Now I can carry wood and plywood on it and don't have to worry about a thing. I converted my thule box with x adapters for the thule aero box and I have ladder supports that also fit the rail. So I'm ready to go. FYI, the Whispbar rail fits any Thule Aero accessory, but you have to press down on the grommet on the rail to get anything started - the ladder post needs a feeler gauge to push down the rubber for the tightening button. T screw. A bit difficult. Whisbars are very quiet compared to any roof rack I've had, Thule square bars or Yakima round bars.
