Review on 🚪 Wright Products V920WH White Standard Duty Pneumatic Closer for Screen and Storm Doors by Jonathan Lamp

I installed an Anderson 2000 storm door less than 1 year ago and about 3 weeks ago a storm ripped the door open and bent both closers. I received this a few days ago and I can already see an improvement.1. Despite being a thicker barrel, it fits perfectly in length. I was able to use the bracket that was already installed on the door. I would have mounted it on a bracket on the post but the bracket was damaged by the wind. So replacing the post mount with the one that came with my purchase was quick. I connected the lower reinforced door closer to a conventional upper door closer from the same manufacturer. I set the top to close hard and the bottom to close softly, which worked better than trying to force both to close with the same force. Now the door closes and locks every time. I couldn't get Anderson's closer to do it.3. The door now feels heavier and exposed to less wind. As an additional measure, I installed a chain that can be looped over the upper locking bolt. It's only been a few days so I can't confirm longevity yet. But if I find them failing prematurely I will update this review. No update means they still work.
