Great starter kit for computers and accessories

I started an online Arduino course and bought it because of the price and the amount of electronics required for the course. I wasn't expecting this set to create a robot or permanent device, but it will give me a broad general start whichever path I choose. Midway through the course I just needed a sensor that wasn't in the package. Looking ahead, everything else is littered with unnecessary details that aren't even used. The whole set comes in a nice transparent plastic case. All the components are well assembled and I didn't have to solder anything to make it work. The breadboard is huge compared to what is used in an online course. There are additional LEDs and resistors, which are the most common items I've used in several course projects. There are at least two of most small parts, and they're housed in their own smaller case that fits inside the larger one, which is nice. There are so many things in the suitcase that it is not always easy to find a specific sensor or return everything. The lid has a parts list insert with a picture for identification. I checked the CD and my copy. had all source code, IDE and sensor libraries. No internet search to find them. 15 minutes after opening the case, the LEDs on my first project started blinking. The main Arduino board is 3/4 the size of a deck of cards and appears to be performing like a champ. Everything is clearly marked on it and the plugs are tightened. So far it's been a great starter kit for me and my son is right behind me waiting for his turn to use it.
