Review on 🧶 Light Gray Heather Soft Yarn by Red Heart (E728.9440) by Sasha Hsiao

I have ordered several colors but most are in 50z balls. Heather Gray weighs only 4 ounces (look carefully at the label in the photo) and although it is labeled as 'soft' yarn and has 4 layers, like skeins of 5 ounces, the overall weight is much lighter than that of 50 ounces. So if you are planning to use this yarn in combination with other yarns, remember that it is much looser to crochet/knit and has a lower density and weight. Changing to a different hook or needle size solves this problem, but the gauge will also change in your project. Used alone this would be a lovely soft project suitable for a baby blanket, but if you need fullness in your work plan plenty to compensate for the extreme lightness of this yarn. Unfortunately mine is going back as I had to use it with a different yarn.
