I bought this collar for my daughter's dog. She wanted it for her pup because it's a good price and looks really cool. We got it 5 months ago and it's still holding up. Dakota is now almost 8 months old. I never write reviews but I have to say. My daughter walked Dakota and one of our larger dogs, Houston. She came across a house that didn't have a dog on a leash (they never walk) and he ran towards her. The owner yelled at him but he didn't listen and approached our dogs with his hair standing up and growling. My daughter was angry and tried to push the big dog away while trying to hold down our 95 and 40 pound dogs. The owner was unable to catch her dog and the dog grabbed Dakota by the throat. Luckily Dakota was wearing a collar and the dog couldn't pierce his neck. He just pushed him to the ground and startled him. Another dog hurt his neck from biting that collar, and the only blood on Dakota was from another dog. This collar is durable and life saving for only $12 I would definitely recommend!
