Review on Gates 27004 Fuel Line Hose by James Arellano

Gates make great products. I have no complaints about the quality or the price. What annoys me is that they make half of their products in the US and half in Mexico. I've replaced all the hoses in several cars and it's usually hard to find all the US made products in today's world. I try to buy American ones whenever I can, but most of my cars have some hoses that were made in Mexico. It doesn't usually bother me, but on my classic car that I restored, a 1971 AMC Javelin SST, I do mind that I can't find all the hoses that fit. I have to decide if I want to use all tubing from the same brand that is said to be half made in the US and half in Mexico, or if I want to use multiple brands that all state that they are made in the US. I chose the second option. This is a classic American car and only looks good with American made parts. I just wish I didn't have to choose.
